Inclusive dance - A collective act of radical slowness. Unfolding momentarily on the Brisbane Powerhouse forecourt, Us And All Of This was a large-scale sculptural performance that offered a rare moment of calm reflection. Created by Liesel Zink with sound artist Lawrence English, this mesmerising dance work brought together 100 people from all walks of life to move as one. Exploring assembly and collectivity as an antidote to an era of over-productivity and disconnection, Us And All Of This challenged the fast-paced, isolated structure of society. Performers moved with the landscape and each other, rejecting the idea of human separateness and embracing our place within a complex ecology. A ritual of coming together.
