In 2023, Kylie combined decades of teaching experience, lived experience and a passion for eating disorder prevention, to initiate the "Bye- bye BMI" campaign. This collaboration with EDFA and The Embrace  Collective, has led to significant food and wellbeing education reform in the Australian school system, and new recommendations for a safer dance community.

 

Kylie is currently an Associate Investigator on Nutrition in Schools Research, which will lead to the development of world-first teacher training. She is also an Education Consultant for The Embrace Collective, as they develop fresh and engaging nutrition resources for students in years 7-10. Kylie has also contributed to the Embrace Kids: Teacher Masterclass, Embrace Kids: Activate Dance Recommendations, and world-first Safedance™ for Kids Teacher Training Modules, for Ausdance Qld.​
