In 2023, Kylie combined decades of teaching experience, lived experience and a passion for eating disorder prevention, to initiate the "Bye- bye BMI" campaign. This collaboration with EDFA and The Embrace  Collective, has led to significant food and wellbeing education reform in the Australian school system and new recommendations for safe and inclusive dance practices.

 

Kylie is currently an Associate Investigator on Nutrition in Schools Research, which will lead to the development of world-first teacher training and updated nutrition resources for schools. Kylie has also contributed to the Embrace Kids Teacher Masterclass, Embrace Kids Activate Dance Recommendations, and Ausdance Qld's Safedance for Kids.​
